HOW VOTING WORKS FOR THE NICKELODEON KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS ABU DHABI 2023
This year's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards Abu Dhabi (the "KCA Abu Dhabi") gives the power to you, the fans, to vote for the winners of most of our awards.
Nickelodeon and Nickelodeon International will be responsible for managing the KCA Abu Dhabi and all matters related thereto, including the selection of nominees, administration of voting and presentation of the awards.
1. Voting Period:
The voting periods for all categories will start on August 04, 2023 and ending on September 8, 2023.
2. Voting Methods:
Votes will be accepted via the following methods:
1. Website: via the Nickelodeon Arabia KCA website at https://kca.nickelodeonarabia.com/ (one vote counted per click), for all main categories only as detailed in section 3 below;
2. Instagram: for categories as detailed in section 3 below, by commenting on the native posts of the Nickelodeon Arabia Instagram local account featuring the nominee hashtag (VOTE + Nominee Specific) and #KCAAD2023, as communicated by the Nickelodeon Arabia team, via your Instagram account (as applicable) subject to the conditions set out below:
• one vote per nominee counted per comment containing applicable required voting hashtag.
• votes via Instagram will be recognized only from Instagram accounts which are public, incorporate an avatar image, have more than 10 followers, and were created at least 24 hours prior to the time of the applicable vote post.
3. Voting Categories:
There are a total of 16 (including 2 international categories) open for voting, as detailed in Exhibit A incorporated here by this reference.
Nickelodeon and Nickelodeon International reserve the right to revise or add additional voting categories to be announced at a later date. Winners of the Categories will be announced during the KCA Abu Dhabi on September 16th, 2023.
Use of any device to automate a vote is prohibited, including, but not limited to, software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated votes. Nickelodeon International reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any vote it suspects or finds: (a) to have used a software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated vote; (b) to have tampered with the voting process; (c) to be acting in violation of these Voting Rules; or (d) to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
The total number of votes submitted during the Voting Period for the nominees in each of the international categories will be tabulated by Nickelodeon International and the nominee with the most votes in its applicable category, as determined by Nickelodeon International, will be declared the winner of such category. The total number of votes submitted during the Voting Period for the nominees in each of the main categories will be forwarded to Nickelodeon for processing. If this voting process is interrupted for any reason, is found to have been tampered with in any way, or for any other reason that Nickelodeon International believes in its sole discretion to be reasonably necessary, Nickelodeon International reserves the right to select the winners at its discretion and may take into consideration the number of votes received by a nominee up until the time of the interruption or cancelation of the voting process.
By participating in this voting process, you agree to be bound by these HOW VOTING WORKS FOR THE NICKELODEON KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS ABU DHABI 2023 rules. Failure to comply with these rules may result in a voter's disqualification solely at the discretion of Nickelodeon International. Nickelodeon International reserves the right to modify these HOW VOTING WORKS FOR THE NICKELODEON KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS ABU DHABI 2023 rules at any time in its sole discretion.
All interpretations of these HOW VOTING WORKS FOR THE NICKELODEON KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS ABU DHABI 2023 rules and the decisions of Nickelodeon International relating to this voting process are final.
